Will This Win Spark A Momentum Shift For The Toronto Blue Jays? | City Connect Leaks
The Toronto Blue Jays stomp on the Detroit Tigers, beating them 9-1 in one of the weirdest games of the year. This game was not unique in terms of baseball, it was in terms of the broadcast. There was a massive power outage at Comerica Park that forced Blue Jays fans to have an interesting viewing experience. The Blue Jays might like it when there are power outages, as IKF, Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Bo Bichette, and Janno all had great games at the plate. Kevin Gausman looked like prime Kevin Gausman today, striking out a season-high 10 batters in his six innings of work. This was the best Gausman splitter has looked all season getting some of the worst swings and misses we have seen all season. In this episode, we analyze game 1 of the Blue Jays vs Tigers Series, diving into player performances, broadcasting blunders, individual performances, highlights from the game, City Connect Jerseys, and News and Storylines going into the weekend. Who is over/underperforming? How will the bullpen look when reinforcements come back? Are the Blue Jays starting to pick up momentum? We answer all these questions and more on this episode of Locked On Blue Jays. Your current Toronto Blue Jays roster: Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Bo Bichette, Kevin Gausman, Jordan Romano, Alek Manoah, Yariel Rodriguez, George Springer, Yusei Kikuchi, Jose Berrios, Chris Bassitt, Cavan Biggio, Justin Turner, Daulton Varsho, Danny Jansen, Alejandro Kirk, Joey Votto, Erik Swanson, Kevin Kiermaier, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Davis Schneider, Ernie Clement, Spencer Horwitz, Chad Green, Tim Mayza, Trevor Richards, Genesis Cabrera, Yimi Garcia, Bowden Francis, Daniel Vogelbach, Orelvis Martinez, Ricky Tiedemann, Zach Pop, Addison Barger, Nate Pearson, Nathan Lukes, Aaron Sanchez. THE HOME RUN JACKET IS BACK!! Will This Be The Key To Fixing The Toronto Blue Jays Offensive Struggles?
The Toronto Blue Jays take care of business against the Chicago White in the third game of the series. This was the first series the Toronto Blue Jays have won in over a month, dating back to April 19-21st against the San Diego Padres. The Blue Jays had a lot of firsts in the game this season, having their first 7-run inning, their first triple (Daulton Varsho), and their first 4-hole home run (Bo Bichette). This team did exactly what they haven’t done all season, they got a two-out rally with 4 straight hits in the bottom of the 2nd, and they strung hits together with runners in scoring position. We may have to take a step back from this series, remembering that the Chicago White Sox have the worst record in all of baseball but man, it feels amazing to score runs, have big rallies, and win a series. We cover the huge 2nd inning rally, individual player performances, the home run jacket, and so much more on this episode of Locked On Blue Jays. Your current Toronto Blue Jays roster: Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Bo Bichette, Kevin Gausman, Jordan Romano, Alek Manoah, Yariel Rodriguez, George Springer, Yusei Kikuchi, Jose Berrios, Chris Bassitt, Cavan Biggio, Justin Turner, Daulton Varsho, Danny Jansen, Alejandro Kirk, Joey Votto, Erik Swanson, Kevin Kiermaier, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Davis Schneider, Ernie Clement, Spencer Horwitz, Chad Green, Tim Mayza, Trevor Richards, Genesis Cabrera, Yimi Garcia, Bowden Francis, Daniel Vogelbach, Orelvis Martinez, Ricky Tiedemann, Zach Pop, Addison Barger, Nate Pearson, Nathan Lukes, Aaron Sanchez. Are Vladimir Guererro Jr. and Bo Bichette on the Toronto Blue Jays Trade Block? | Lackluster Offense Overview

Are Vladimir Guererro Jr. and Bo Bichette on the Toronto Blue Jays Trade Block? | Lackluster Offense Overview
The Toronto Blue Jays lose to the Chicago White Sox 5-0 after only having two hits. But there this wasn’t the main story from today. In an article by Mark Feinsand, he states that the Blue Jays have been in talks about moving “superstars” Vladimir Guererro Jr and Bo Bichette around the trade deadline. This is in terms of a retool, not a complete firesale from this team. With the offensive struggles from this team for a year and a half, there needs to be a change offensively, and it needs to happen sooner rather than later. Would you rather trade Vladdy or Bo? Would this be the right move for the Toronto Blue Jays? In this episode, we cover our opinions on Bo and Vladdy, as well as where this team stands as a whole. We also go into Yusei Kikuchi, some John Schneider quotes, and the root problem of this team on this episode of Locked On Blue Jays. Are The Toronto Blue Jays Going to Re-Sign Danny Jansen? | Danny Jansen Contract Talks & Blue Jays Recap
The Toronto Blue Jays take care of business against the Chicago White Sox on Monday winning game 1 of the series 9-3. This was a Danny Jansen legacy game, with Danny driving in 5 of the 9 Blue Jays runs and being a massive spark plug for this offense. Bo Bichette also had a great day offensively, having three doubles on route to a 4-4 day at the plate. With how Danny Jansen has been this season, we decided to compare him to other offensive powerhouses at the catcher position, debating whether the Toronto Blue Jays should offer him a contract extension. Do you think Danny Jansen is worth resigning? How many years would you sign him for? Does his injury history concern you? We cover individual performances from the first game of the Blue Jays vs White Sox series, huge moments, and in-depth analysis of all things Blue Jays on this episode of Locked On Blue Jays. Fraud Watch: Is Jordan Romano The Most Overrated Closer In All of Baseball? | Blue Jays Breakdown
The Toronto Blue Jays drop a tough game against the Baltimore Orioles, getting walked off by Adley Rutchsman. With the blown save by Jordan Romano, many people are calling for his head, saying that he is not a legitimate closer and that the Toronto Blue Jays should look elsewhere for a more reliable closing pitcher. We break down whether there is validity to these statements, breaking down his 2024 stats, as well as comparing him and his stats to one of the best closing pitchers in the game, Josh Hader. Is the Jordan Romano hate deserved? We break down the big moments from game two of this series, from the Bo Bichette RBI double, to Daulton Varsho’s obstruction call, to Yimi Garcia’s dominant performance out of the bullpen. Alek Manoah’s Masterclass: Game of the Year: Insane Comeback Breakdown | Vladdy’s Superstar Series
A wild weekend of Toronto Blue Jays baseball ends with a series loss to the Minnesota Twins 2-1. This was a weekend that nobody could have predicted. The Toronto Blue Jays got an unbelievable start from Alek Manoah Sunday, they came back from a 7-1 deficit in game two, and Yusei Kikuchi pitched 8 innings in game 1. Vladimir Guerrero Jr was on fire this series, having seven hits in three games, and continues to improve at the plate. George Springer was sick for the first two games of the series, to nobody's surprise the top of the order looked dangerous at the plate, swinging to do damage and having very long and tough at-bats with Davis Schneider leading things off in both games. John Schneider saw the Blue Jays score double-digit runs for the first time this season and decided to change the lineup. The lineup he played on Sunday got two hits. There is so much to talk about regarding the Toronto Blue Jays. In this episode, we break down the insanity that occurred in the Twins series, breaking down the biggest moments and storylines of the weekend. Jordan Romano Gives Toronto Blue Jays Fans a Heart Attack as the Blue Jays beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-3.
The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Philadelphia Phillies 5-3, snapping the Phillies’ 11-game home winning streak. This was a more typical Toronto Blue Jays game, having great starting pitching, just enough offense to keep them ahead, and a solid performance from the bullpen. Chris Bassitt had a huge bounceback game, getting swings on pitches outside of the strike zone, resulting in a ton of weak contact. Vladimir Guerrero Jr had a good day, hitting balls hard and going 3-5. The Blue Jays played some small ball in the 8th, taking advantage of hit and runs and some tough at-bats that resulted in hits. Jordan Romano did his best to try and blow the game for the Blue Jays but ended up getting a save and closing out the game for the Blue Jays. In this episode, we break down individual player performances, highlight plays, and give some sneak peeks regarding future episodes and video ideas your hosts are looking to bring you in the future. Can The Toronto Blue Jays Get Any Worse At Baseball? | Blue Jays vs Phillies Game One Breakdown
The Toronto Blue Jays lose another game, this one being against the Philadelphia Phillies 10-1. Jose Berrios got picked apart today, giving up eight runs in his first blow-up outing of the season. The offense continues to be subpar, only manufacturing one run in the game, while allowing the Phillies starting pitcher Christopher Sanchez to breeze through 7 innings. John Schneider got kicked out in today’s game after a botched call by the third base umpire allowed Kyle Schwarber to reach base when he should have struck out. Ultimately, this led to Bryce Harper launching a grand slam into the right field seats. Overall, there is not a lot of positives to take from this game. WE NEED CHANGE. Where would you start if you had the responsibility of fixing this team? Blueprint To Success: Your New Toronto Blue Jays Batting Order is….
It is clear the Toronto Blue Jays offense has been subpar so far this season. As many fans have realized, the current Blue Jays batting order is not getting the job done. John Schneider’s huge line-up shuffle consisted of swapping Daulton Varsho and Bo Bichette in the batting order while keeping George Springer leading off. We have decided to help John Schneider out with his decisions by making our batting orders to jumpstart this offense. Do you agree with our batting order? The Blue Jays pitching staff has had a roller coaster start to the 2024 season. With a plethora of injuries and abysmal pitching performances, we decided to break down a few members of this pitching staff, going over the good, the bad, and the ugly. How are you feeling about this Toronto Blue Jays pitching staff? Aaron Sanchez has returned to the Toronto Blue Jays on a minor-league deal. It seems like Ross Atkins has a new plan of attack for this team, trying to capture some 2015 magic for the 2024 Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays have a two-game series set against the Philadelphia Phillies, hoping to get back in the win column. Will the Toronto Blue Jays bounce back from their worst series of the year? | Alek Manoah Debut
Where do we go from here? The Toronto Blue Jays lose the series 2-1 to the Washington Nationals. This was undoubtedly the worst series of the year. The Blue Jays only scored three runs against the worst pitcher in all of baseball, Patrick Corbin. While Yusei Kikuchi was dialed in, going 6 innings strong of one-run ball, the bullpen found a way to throw away the game. In game 2, the Washington Nationals tried their hardest to give the Blue Jays a million runs in the first inning, but the Blue Jays settled for 4. Jordan Romano had a classic Jordan Romano start, leaving people on the edge of their seats by bringing the tying run to the plate, but inevitably getting out of the jam. In game 3, Alek Manoah took the mound for the first time in the 2024 season. With the Blue Jays scoring 8 runs in the game, and the Washington Nationals again trying their hardest to help the Toronto Blue Jays offense, you would think they would come out with a victory. In this episode, we break down the Nationals series, giving our perspectives on what the Blue Jays did and did not do well during these three baseball games. Is Ross Atkins To *BLAME* For The Toronto Blue Jays Lackluster Start To The Season?
Ross Atkins is in his 9th season as the General Manager of the Toronto Blue Jays. Under Ross Atkins, the Blue Jays have failed to win a playoff game since 2016, when Ross inherited a World Series contending team from Tony Lacavo, but really it was Alex Anthopoulos who built this team from the ground up. Ross Atkins has made some great trades in the past, but it has not led to success for the Toronto Blue Jays organization. This season, he went full out on pitching and defense to limit as many runs as possible. So far, his plan has not panned out. We break down some of Ross Atkin’s biggest transactions with the Toronto Blue Jays, the team's success under his tenure, and what we can expect from the Toronto Blue Jays and Atkins for the rest of the season. We also break down the National series pitching matchups and what we expect from the Toronto Blue Jays this weekend. What do you think should be done with Ross Atkins? Who is to blame for the Blue Jays struggles? Your current Toronto Blue Jays roster: Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Bo Bichette, Kevin Gausman, Jordan Romano, Alek Manoah, Yariel Rodriguez, George Springer, Yusei Kikuchi, Jose Berrios, Chris Bassitt, Cavan Biggio, Justin Turner, Daulton Varsho, Danny Jansen, Alejandro Kirk, Joey Votto, Erik Swanson, Kevin Kiermaier, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Davis Schneider, Ernie Clement, Spencer Horwitz, Chad Green, Tim Mayza, Trevor Richards, Genesis Cabrera, Yimi Garcia, Bowden Francis, Daniel Vogelbach, Orelvis Martinez, Ricky Tiedemann, Zach Pop, Addison Barger, Nate Pearson, Nathan Lukes. Is It Time To Bring Alek Manoah Back To The Toronto Blue Jays | Kansas City Royals Series Recap!
The Toronto Blue Jays lose the series to the Kansas City Royals. The offense continued its consistency this season, they have consistently been horrible. In other news, Alek Manoah had an unbelievable start in Triple-A, striking out 12 and only walking three. With Yariel Rodriguez re-aggravating his back injury, there is an opening spot in this rotation. If you were John Schneider, who would you give the fifth starting rotation spot? Would you go with Alek Manoah, Bowdin Francis, or Trevor Richards or would you go with someone else entirely? In this episode of Locked on Blue Jays, we do a deep dive into games 2 and 3 of the Blue Jays and Royals series, breaking down the good, the bad, and the ugly of this series of Toronto Blue Jays baseball. Matt Chapman, Whit Merrifield and Jordan Hicks left in free agency. Did the Toronto Blue Jays Fumble
The Toronto Blue Jays are 31 games into the season. We decided to take a look at players the Blue Jays decided to let go this offseason and compared them to players that are in the lineup in 2024. We exchanged: Matt Chapman, Whit Merrifield, Jordan Hicks, and Brandon Belt for IKF, and Justin Turner, but this allowed for players like Davis Schneider and Ernie Clement to see the field more often in 2024. We compare these players' starts to the season, discussing which decisions we agree and disagree with through the first month of the season. George Springer has been good this season, but why? Carter does a deep dive into George Springer's struggles, finding the root cause of Springer's slow start to the season. Based on what you have seen from Springer, what does he need to do better this season? In this episode, Brayden breaks down the fanatic fiasco, as multiple organizations are trying to throw the blame on one another. Who do you think is in the wrong in this Fanatics Fiasco? Your current Toronto Blue Jays roster: Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Bo Bichette, Kevin Gausman, Jordan Romano, Alek Manoah, Yariel Rodriguez, George Springer, Yusei Kikuchi, Jose Berrios, Chris Bassitt, Cavan Biggio, Justin Turner, Daulton Varsho, Danny Jansen, Alejandro Kirk, Joey Votto, Erik Swanson, Kevin Kiermaier, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Davis Schneider, Ernie Clement, Spencer Horwitz, Chad Green, Tim Mayza, Trevor Richards, Genesis Cabrera, Yimi Garcia, Bowden Francis, Daniel Vogelbach, Orelvis Martinez, Ricky Tiedemann, Zach Pop, Addison Barger, Nate Pearson, Nathan Lukes. The Toronto Blue Jays scored 6 runs in a baseball game for the first time since April 6th | Addison Barger’s first hit.
The Toronto Blue Jays have done the impossible. They have scored 6 runs for the first time since April 6th. This was a Justin Turner legacy game, as he smashed 2 pull-side home runs over the left-field wall. He continues to show his value not only on the baseball field but off it as well, helping Davis Schneider with his approach at the plate. The Blue Jays did something fans aren’t accustomed to, they scored runs in multiple innings and had 3 home runs in a game for the first time since opening day. Yariel Rodriguez did not have his best stuff but fought hard to get through three and two-thirds innings with only 2 earned runs allowed. Addison Barger also picked up the first hit of his MLB career today. Hopefully, today served as a step for this offense, hoping to carry their momentum through the rest of the series. We break down game 1 against the Royals, analyze player performances and cover Blue Jays news and storylines on this episode of Locked on Blue Jays. Which players need to be moved to spark the Toronto Blue Jays Offence? | Is this on John Schneider?

Which players need to be moved to spark the Toronto Blue Jays Offence? | Is this on John Schneider?
The Toronto Blue Jays narrowly avoided a sweep against the Los Angeles Dodgers, losing the series 2-1. This offense stinks. Scoring seven runs in a three-game series is not going to be enough to beat one of the best offenses in the league. George Springer, Bo Bichette, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr are having horrible at-bats, serving as a black hole at the top of this lineup. John Schneider has shown time and time again that he is not capable of making the correct decisions to manage this baseball team. He refuses to change the lineup when the Blue Jays are 27th in the league in runs scored per game. Clearly, something needs to be changed to provide a spark to this Toronto Blue Jays offense. In this episode, we break down the Dodgers series, specific plays and moments, the pitching staff, John Schneider, and much more Toronto Blue Jays news and stories. Your current Toronto Blue Jays roster: Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Bo Bichette, Kevin Gausman, Jordan Romano, Alek Manoah, Yariel Rodriguez, George Springer, Yusei Kikuchi, Jose Berrios, Chris Bassitt, Cavan Biggio, Justin Turner, Daulton Varsho, Danny Jansen, Alejandro Kirk, Joey Votto, Erik Swanson, Kevin Kiermaier, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Davis Schneider, Ernie Clement, Spencer Horwitz, Chad Green, Tim Mayza, Trevor Richards, Genesis Cabrera, Yimi Garcia, Bowden Francis, Daniel Vogelbach, Orelvis Martinez, Ricky Tiedemann, Zach Pop, Addison Barger, Nate Pearson, Nathan Lukes.
