Black Carnivore Podcast

Black Carnivore

Welcome! I'm Ede and my goal with this podcast is to provide all the information you need to make the keto or carnivore diet a way of life. Listen to these stories from new and veteren keto/carnivore folks and be inspired to transform your life and seek optimal health. By my family’s history, I should have high blood pressure, heart disease & be a 300lb diabetic by now, but five years ago I took control of my health and turned that around. Cutting carbs was hard but once I got through it & became fat adapted, I was amazed at how great I felt. Suddenly I had tons of energy, lost 80lbs & most importantly felt like I had a healthy way of eating that was sustainable for a lifetime! We’re told getting older means weight gain, aches, pains, and muscle loss, but now I know that is absolutely not our destiny. If you’re looking to take back your health or set yourself up for a long & healthy life, hang out here and listen to these amazing success stories. read less

#79 Can You Use the Carnivore Diet to Treat Lipedema or Lymphedema? | Dr. Catherine Seo
I learned so much about lipedema and lymphedema from this conversation with Dr. Seo. Let me know if this interview resonates for you. Please share with anyone you think needs this information. About Dr. Seo The Lipedema Project started as a collaborative partnership between Mark L. Smith, MD, FACS, Director of the The Friedman Center for Breast and Lymphatic Surgery at Northwell Health in NY, and Catherine Seo, PhD, founder of Lipedema Simplified, LLC, and a lipedema patient, advocate and filmmaker in Boston. The Lipedema Project is a comprehensive transmedia program to increase awareness and provide education, research, and treatment for lipedema. With obesity reaching epidemic proportions and anti-fat bias prevalent in healthcare, it is critical that patients are correctly diagnosed and resources are invested in understanding this disease and how it can be treated. Drs. Smith and Seo have collaborated to bring together healthcare professional and patient populations to identify and solve the issues presented by this little-known fat disorder.  This unique and cutting-edge approach has led to the documentary film, The Disease They Call FAT, the First International Symposium on Lipedema, CME courses live and online, a global community of patients supporting one another, and an upcoming book on lipedema authored by the leading experts worldwide. https://lipedemaproject.org/ https://lipedema-simplified.org/  @Lipedema Simplified  Catherine@lipedema-simplified.org
