6. Shattering Glass Ceilings and Finding Inner Truth: A Conversation with Eileen Isola
If you've ever questioned the power of resilience and the courage to be your authentic self, you're going to be absolutely inspired by my latest conversation with Eileen Isola on the Curiosity, Clarity, Empowerment podcast. Eileen's life is a living testament to the strength of the human spirit, and she's here to share her incredible journey with us.   For those who haven't had the pleasure of meeting her, Eileen Isola is a warrior in every sense of the word. She's a decorated combat veteran, a cancer survivor, and an LGBTQ advocate who has shattered glass ceilings in both the military and civilian life. And let me tell you, her story is nothing short of awe-inspiring!   Eileen's journey began in the Air Force, where she was one of the few women pilots during the '80s and '90s. She faced the unique challenge of compartmentalizing her identity to fit into a world that wasn't always accepting. But that's not all; she also had to navigate the complexities of being a gay woman during a time when it was considered a felony in the Department of Defense. Talk about resilience!   The big takeaway for me was the concept of "unpacking the caverns" that hold us captive. Eileen and I delved into the idea that life's adversities, while challenging, can also be the catalysts for profound personal growth and self-discovery. It's about facing your fears, breaking down barriers, and embracing your true self.   We also explored the importance of having conversations that matter. Eileen emphasized the need for women, especially, to lift each other up and create a supportive community. She shared her belief in the power of collective voices, reminding me that we all have the ability to make a significant impact, no matter how small our actions may seem at the moment.   And let's not overlook the theme of health and well-being! Eileen is passionate about advocating for better healthcare, particularly for those dealing with cancer. Her experience has led her to become a beacon of hope and a source of invaluable information for others navigating similar challenges.   If you haven't listened to the episode yet, I highly recommend you do so right now! Trust me, you don't want to miss out on Eileen Isola's wisdom, courage, and indomitable spirit. 5. Creating a Ripple Effect: How Small Actions Lead to Big Impact with Lisa Even
Hey everyone! If you've ever wondered if your actions really matter, let me tell you, they do! In fact, they have the power to create a ripple effect that can change the world. And if you're skeptical, you won't be after listening to my latest conversation with Lisa on the Curiosity, Clarity, Empowerment podcast. She's living proof that small actions can lead to big impacts, and she's here to share her wisdom with all of us. For those of you who don't know, Lisa is a force of nature when it comes to creating positive ripple effects. She's a former healthcare leader who decided to take her mission of creating a "good ripple effect" into the world. And let me tell you, she's doing it in a big way! Lisa's journey started in healthcare, where she led teams and focused on creating a positive work environment. She coined the term "good ripple effect" to describe the impact each person can have on their surroundings. And it's not just a catchy phrase; it's a way of life for her. The big takeaway for me was the idea of living life as an "experiment." Lisa and I both agreed that you can't predict the outcome of your actions until you actually take them. So why not approach life with a sense of curiosity and see where it leads you?   We also dove deep into the concept of the "ripple effect," discussing how even small actions can have a significant impact on others. Lisa shared her belief in the power of "two-minute moments," those brief interactions that can change the course of someone's life. It reminded me that we all have the power to make a difference, no matter how small it may seem at the time.   And let's not forget about joy! Lisa is all about infusing joy into everyday life, whether it's at work or at home. She even has a "joy calendar" to make sure she's prioritizing happiness. It's a simple yet powerful tool that I'm definitely going to implement in my own life. If you haven't listened to the episode yet, go do it now! Trust me, you don't want to miss out on Lisa's wisdom and infectious energy.   LINKS: Website: https://carikenzie.com Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/carikenzieglobal Instagram: (@carikenzie) https://www.instagram.com/carikenzie LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/carikenzie/   FREE TRAINING! 5 Days To Clarity FREE Mini-Course -  CLICK HERE: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/n8R8aMD/5daystoclarity Episode Minute By Minute Breakdown:  1:30 - The Power of Living Life as an Experiment: Don't be afraid to take risks and try new things. 4. The Power and Paradox of Being Seen: Why Self-Validation Could Be Your Biggest Hurdle
Hey there, beautiful souls! 🌟   Welcome to Curiosity, Clarity, and Empowerment podcast. Honestly, I had to take a few deep breaths just to absorb the depth of what we discussed!   If you haven't tuned in yet, this episode is a game-changer. I dive deep into the paradox of our deepest desires and greatest fears—specifically, the yearning to be truly seen and the fear that comes with it. Trust me, this is a topic that resonates with each and every one of us, whether we're aware of it or not.   In this episode, I take you on a transformative journey through my own experiences and those of my clients. I challenge you to confront your self-imposed limitations and to embrace the unique worth of your individual experiences. This wisdom isn't just theoretical; it's born out of my own life journey, making it all the more impactful.   One of my favorite moments in the episode is when I share my philosophy: “I don't believe that there are coincidences. Everything that we navigate through is there for a purpose, for a reason.”  This got me thinking: How often do we dismiss the challenges we face as mere coincidences or bad luck, instead of seeing them as opportunities for growth and self-discovery?   I also delve into the concept of self-validation, a topic that's often overlooked but is crucial for personal growth. I talk about how our sense of worth—or lack thereof—can either propel us forward or hold us back. It's a topic that resonates deeply, especially in a world where we're constantly measuring ourselves against societal standards.   I touch on the idea of "invalidation," which I describe as a lack of perceived worth that we often carry from childhood into our adult lives. I share poignant stories and examples that make you stop and think about your own life experiences. It's a wake-up call to recognize and challenge these deeply ingrained beliefs.   So, if you're ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, hit that play button now! Trust me, this episode is a must-listen for anyone who's ever questioned their worth or felt held back by their own limitations. 3. The Science of Dreaming: Mitch Matthews (Expert Dreamer) Reveals All
Hey everyone! I'm still buzzing from the incredible conversation I had with Mitch Matthews on the latest episode of the Curiosity Clarity Empowerment podcast. I mean, I had to stop drinking coffee three hours before the interview just to keep my excitement in check!   For those of you who don't know, Mitch is a powerhouse of inspiration. He's the guy behind the top-rated Dream, Think, Do podcast, which is all about helping people dream bigger, think better, and do more of what they were created to do. And when I say top-rated, I mean it's in the top 1% of all podcasts and even got a number one ranking from the Huffington Post.   Mitch is also a speaker, elite success coach, and has worked with big names like Nike, United Airlines, NASA, and Disney. But what really gets me is his mission to launch a million dreams in his lifetime. And guess what? He's actually doing it!   Mitch's journey started in his living room, where he hosted what he calls a "Big Dream Gathering." The idea was simple: invite friends over, write down dreams and goals on sheets of paper, put them up on the walls, and see if they could help each other out. And it worked! The gathering went from a couple of hours to a full week, and people started achieving their dreams left and right.   Mitch's story got me thinking: Are we trying to figure out how to accomplish our dreams or how to quit them? The big takeaway for me was to dream without limits and take the first step. We often set incremental goals because it's safe and logical. But if you want to take a quantum leap forward, you have to release attachment and dream without limit.   Mitch also talked about what he calls a "catalytic moment," a point where everything seems to be falling apart. It's a moment that forces you to take action, to experiment, and to move forward. It's a moment that, while painful at the time, you wouldn't trade for anything later on because it led you to where you needed to go.   Mitch's advice? Start with prayer or meditation, connect with your foundational beliefs, and then put on your "scientist's lab coat." Think of one experiment you can try right now, no matter how small, and go for it. It's a form of curiosity that can help you move forward, even when you're scared out of your mind.   So, if you haven't listened to the episode yet, go do it now! 2. Questioning the Voices in Your Head: How Curiosity Leads to Clarity
Hey there, you beautiful souls! We're back with another episode of "Curiosity, Clarity, Empowerment!" And oh boy, do we have a lot to talk about. If you're here for the first time, welcome! And if you're returning, you're the real MVP, and I'm so grateful you're sticking around. So, what's on the agenda today? One word: Curiosity. Yep, that little itch in the back of your mind that makes you wonder "what if?" or "why?" You know, the thing that got you into trouble as a kid but also led you to some of the most fantastic discoveries? Yeah, that's what we're diving into today. I've got to tell you, curiosity has been a game-changer for me. It's like this magical key that opens doors to places you didn't even know existed. But here's the kicker: as kids, we're often told to stop asking so many questions. "Because I said so," remember hearing that one? Yeah, me too. But what if we never stopped asking? What if we let our curiosity run wild? In today's episode, I share some personal stories, including the metaphorical 'Tiffany boxes' where I used to stash away my emotions and questions. Trust me, life has a funny way of making you open those boxes, whether you're ready or not. And when you do, that's when the real journey begins. I also talk about how curiosity led me to clarity in the most unexpected ways. Ever heard of Liz Gilbert's book "Big Magic"? If you haven't, add it to your reading list ASAP. It's a gem, and it perfectly illustrates how curiosity can lead you to your next big thing, even when you have no idea what that is. So, are you up for a challenge? This week, let's get curious. Let's question those inner voices that have been holding us back. Let's find out if they're worth our time or if we should tell them, "Not today, you're not worthy of my curiosity or the beautiful life I'm creating." I can't wait to hear how it goes for you. Drop a comment, send me a message, or if you're feeling super generous, leave a review for the podcast. Your support means the world to me, and it helps spread the message even further. Alright, that's enough from me for now.
