Hello, and welcome to my podcast. I first went viral on TikTok after telling the story of how I got stuck buying 100 tacos on a first date. Since then, it’s been a wild and crazy ride. I now have millions of eyeballs watching my videos on a daily basis (which is just a terrifying number of eyeballs, honestly).

Each week on my podcast Funny Cuz It’s True, I’ll be sitting down with my favorite creators, friends and comedians to find the stories that have stuck with them and changed their lives in small ways. Not so funny moments that have become funny over time. I want to know how they handled these situations and learned to laugh about them years later. How do they do it? Great question, I’d love to tell you (but you have to listen to find out).

The Funny Cuz It's True with Elyse Myers podcast is an extension of the host's hilarious TikTok channel. Host Elyse Myers is most known for revealing that she once bought 100 tacos while on a first date. She's a content creator, writer and musician who loves funny stories. Elyse interviews friends, actors, and comedians about their lives on the podcast. She wants to discover which stories have changed their lives and what they have learned from them. It's about the not-so-funny moments that have become funny over time.

Myers admits that she was nervous about starting a podcast, but she decided to do so anyway. It's this fearless spirit that has captured fans' attention. She isn't afraid to speak her mind or, in this podcast, ask whatever questions she wants. Sometimes, the Funny Cuz It's True with Elyse Myers host makes her personal dreams come true. She met one of her guests after declaring her childhood obsession with him on social media. It's a member of one of the biggest '90s boy bands, Lance Bass from NSYNC. He talks about how he couldn't show his true self while growing up with the band. Only now does he feel he can reveal his full personality. He also shares his journey to surrogacy and why he's decided to be so open about it.

Another highlight podcast episode is with TV personality and hairstylist Jonathan Van Ness. This episode may leave listeners feeling joyful, as it's all about happiness. Van Ness talks about what makes them happy, from gymnastics to dog walking. At this point, Myers reveals her secret to self-care: owning a sauna!
